Under the Cookie Moon is a home-based bakery. Founded by a passionate baker, they deliver not just delicious treats but also warm, nostalgic moments. The owner felt they needed a stronger visual identity to reflect its warmth, creativity, and high-quality baked goods. They wanted a logo refresh and additional brand assets that aligned with their playful brand voice. Customers loved the brand’s whimsical charm, but the existing logo lacked versatility across digital & print formats. I created a cohesive, visually appealing brand identity that resonated with customers while maintaining the brand’s personal touch.

I decided on handwritten and elegant typography to give the brand a playful yet polished feel. Taking inspiration directly from the name, I designed a whimsical “cookie moon” as the central idea, surrounded by cookie crumb stars, a playful nod to the bakery’s identity and a clever way to visually reinforce the name “Under the Cookie Moon.” This approach made the logo memorable and stand out on packaging and digital platforms.

Who was the target audiences the bakery sells to? This would be important for business decisions and how I would present the brand overall and if there would be any specific design choices that could target all of them.

To help the client streamline their operations, I designed a Notion dashboard with a home page for company vision and a digital recipe book for recipe and ingredient tracking. I went a step further by crafting a playful, visually engaging recipe book, even though it was just for their eyes. They loved to have a delightful, functional space to manage her business essentials and stay on top of their offerings.
