Faith and Life Notion Dashboard
A Notion dashboard designed to help users integrate faith into their daily routines through structured planning and reflection.
Project Overview
Digital Product Development Lifecycle
Many Christians find it difficult to remain engaged in their studies and daily life in an effective, balanced manner that still feels true to their personalities. And when they finally do find a resource, it’s a bare bones plain idea that barely scrapes the surface of what they need.
My objective was to create a comprehensive, user-friendly bible supplement and Notion dashboard tailored for Christian users, focusing on enhancing their spiritual journey, personal development, and daily organization. The dashboard integrates various features, including a Bible reading tracker, daily devotional, prayer tracker, sermon notes, financial tracker, and personal journaling tools with prompts.
Deliverables
Notion dashboard centerd around faith and day to day needs with different functions, templates, and resources

Your Role
Sole Product Designer
I handled the entire design process, from braisntorm to final designs and user focus testing, ensuring the final product would be useful for customers.

Design Process
Based on user research and competitive analysis, I brainstormed key features and sketched initial layouts. My primary focus was on simplicity, aesthetics, and functionality. Secondary focus was anything faith related becasue I wanted it to be general enough for people of all faiths to use, but still add in mentions of faith to get people going in the right direction.

I started by talking to potential users- people who prioritize faith but need a structured way to integrate it into their daily routines. Some relied on notebooks and sticky notes, while others tried generic planning apps that didn’t quite fit. Most of them wanted something easy to use, flexible, and visually calming. They didn’t need a one-size-fits-all approach; they needed a tool that could adapt to their unique spiritual journey.

Using annotation software and Canva, I designed mockups and Notion elements using a soft blue and purple color palette.

In user testing situations, I conducted usability tests with 5 participants from our initial interview group. My focus group recieved early access to the template to play around with it and give me feedback on how they could see the resources and template in their daily lives in a week testing period. Feedback highlighted the following areas for improvement:
• Simplify the financial tracker interface for better clarity and overview of multiple accounts.
• Add more guided prompts in the daily devotional section.
• Enhance the dream journal with symbolic interpretations and sleep tracer with an automated goal system.

Results
The end product was a comprehensive, user-friendly bible supplement and Notion dashboard tailored for Christian users, focusing on enhancing their spiritual journey, personal development, and daily organization. The dashboard integrates various features, including a Bible reading tracker, daily devotional, prayer tracker, sermon notes, financial tracker, and personal journaling tools.

The faith-based Notion dashboard saw 20 sales within its first month of release and received positive feedback for its comprehensive features and aesthetic design. Users appreciated the seamless integration of faith and daily life, which helped them stay organized while nurturing their spiritual journey.
Bible tracker with progress statuses.

Once you fill out how many chapters you've read, it fills out part of the progress line. I also included study tips and dividers for those who take digital notes on Notion. There is also a section for different prayers a person will take their time on, ranging from topics such as family, daily life and personal development, and love.

Takeaways
This project taught me the power of flexibility in design for end users. A white-label product like this is a sandbox is perfect for everyone since it can target multiple needs at once. People don’t want rigid templates; they want tools that fit seamlessly into their lives. Users appreciated that the template was expansive enough to house all their spiritual and personal development tools without feeling overwhelming. It provided clear guides and resources to help them get started while allowing room for customization, ensuring that each user could tailor it to their unique journey.

Reviews consistently praised the template’s bright, inviting colors, its cohesive design, and the thoughtfully crafted templates that made spiritual tracking both effortless and enjoyable. Overall, it not only helped users stay organized in their faith but also fostered a more intentional and fulfilling spiritual routine.

If I were to iterate on this again, I’d love to explore more interactive Notion integrations, maybe even a guided onboarding experience for new users. I would further refine the design by introducing more accessibility safeguards and informational guardrails.
